Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of BundleNudge and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account.
1. General Principles
BundleNudge is designed to help developers deliver over-the-air updates to React Native applications. You agree to use the Service responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws.
2. Prohibited Uses
You may not use BundleNudge to:
2.1 Illegal Activities
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Distribute content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction of your users
- Facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crimes
- Engage in any activity that could expose BundleNudge to criminal liability
2.2 Harmful Content
- Distribute malware, viruses, trojan horses, spyware, or other malicious code
- Deploy updates that damage, disable, or impair devices or applications
- Distribute ransomware or code that holds data hostage
- Deliver updates designed to exploit security vulnerabilities
2.3 Deceptive Practices
- Misrepresent the source, identity, or content of updates
- Deploy updates that deceive users about their purpose or functionality
- Circumvent app store review processes in ways that violate platform policies
- Use the Service for phishing or social engineering attacks
2.4 Privacy Violations
- Collect personal data without appropriate consent or legal basis
- Violate GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable privacy regulations
- Deploy tracking or surveillance software without user knowledge
- Harvest user data for unauthorized purposes
2.5 Intellectual Property Infringement
- Distribute content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or patents
- Use the Service to deploy pirated software or content
- Violate software licenses or distribution agreements
2.6 Abuse of the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Circumvent usage limits, rate limiting, or access controls
- Use the Service in a way that degrades performance for other users
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
2.7 Spam and Unsolicited Communications
- Use update mechanisms to deliver advertisements or spam
- Send push notifications unrelated to your application's functionality
- Deploy updates for the purpose of displaying unwanted ads
3. Platform Compliance
3.1 App Store Policies
You must comply with the policies of all platforms where your apps are distributed, including:
- Apple App Store: Updates must only modify JavaScript code and assets, not native code. You may not use OTA updates to circumvent App Review.
- Google Play Store: You must comply with Google's policies on code updates and user data.
3.2 Content Restrictions
Updates deployed through BundleNudge must not introduce:
- Gambling functionality (where not originally approved)
- Adult content (where not originally approved)
- Functionality that changes the app's primary purpose
4. Resource Usage
4.1 Fair Use
You agree to use the Service within the limits of your subscription plan. Excessive use that impacts other users or the Service's infrastructure may result in:
- Throttling of your account
- Requirement to upgrade to a higher plan
- Suspension pending review
4.2 Build Resources
Build minutes are intended for compiling JavaScript bundles. You may not use build resources for:
- Cryptocurrency mining
- Running unrelated workloads
- Denial of service attacks
5. Security Requirements
You agree to:
- Use strong, unique credentials for your account
- Enable two-factor authentication when available
- Keep your API keys and deployment credentials secure
- Report security vulnerabilities to security@bundlenudge.com
- Not share accounts or credentials with unauthorized parties
6. Content Standards
Content you deploy through BundleNudge must not include:
- Content that promotes violence or hatred
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) - immediately reported to authorities
- Content that harasses, threatens, or intimidates individuals
- Content that facilitates self-harm or suicide
7. Monitoring and Enforcement
7.1 Our Rights
We reserve the right to:
- Monitor usage for compliance with this AUP
- Investigate suspected violations
- Remove or disable access to content that violates this AUP
- Suspend or terminate accounts for violations
7.2 Reporting Violations
If you become aware of a violation of this AUP, please report it to abuse@bundlenudge.com.
7.3 Enforcement Actions
Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, we may:
- Issue a warning
- Temporarily suspend the account
- Permanently terminate the account
- Report illegal activity to law enforcement
8. Consequences of Violation
Violation of this AUP may result in:
- Immediate suspension or termination of your account
- Forfeiture of any prepaid fees
- Liability for damages caused to BundleNudge or third parties
- Reporting to appropriate authorities
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
